Cryogenic tanks used in Aquaculture

Why should oxygen be injected into water in Aquaculture?

In the incoming water (well-river, etc.) of each aquaculture farm, there is naturally a significant amount of oxygen, which by adding this water to the ponds, fresh water increases the amount of oxygen, but when the density of fish in the pond To reach a certain level, the amount of oxygen is reduced and to have a dense state, oxygen must be added to the water. If the pond uses a closed system, this need is felt even more. Oxygen is one of the basic needs for dense breeding.

How to use oxygen in fish farms?

Oxygen is used in aquaculture in two ways which is summarized below:

1- Normal state:

In this case, oxygen leaves the liquid oxygen tank and enters the cone (reactor). In this cone, water enters from above and enters the oxygen cone next to oxygen using a regulator (adjustable).
This can increase the amount of dissolved oxygen in the water and prevent the rapid outflow of oxygen from the water. After combining, water and oxygen can provide the oxygenated water needed by the pools.
Water coming out of the cone using nozzles can be introduced into the ponds in rotation, directly or from below.

2. Emergency mode (fast):

When the amount of oxygen in the water decreases, it is called an emergency. This condition usually occurs at sunrise or at night, when the creatures in the pond consume a large amount of oxygen and produce CO2.  In this case, oxygen must be injected quickly into the water. In this situation, the fish suffer from loss of and this increases the risk of having casualties. As a result, oxygen is injected from the hoses at the bottom of the pool with pressure. This causes the oxygen level to rise rapidly and the risks are greatly reduced.
The reason this method is not commonly used is that in this method less oxygen is combined with water and could evaporate from the surface of the water.
